I can’t help it – when I look at this image – all I can think is ‘delicious’! Typically – I like to shoot newborn sessions when babies are between 7-10 days old, and preferably before 14 days. This little guy was five weeks old – so I prepared Mom for the fact that we might have more ‘alert’ shots than my typical newborn session… Turns out I was completely wrong – despite his ‘advanced’ age – he was no match for my Baby Whispering skills – in fact – we tried to wake him up at the end of the session to grab some with his eyes open – but we couldn’t rouse the sleepy guy!
This shot is one of the last ones I took – I find that with almost any type of session – my favorite image always ends up being one of the last ones I took – it just goes to show – it’s worth it to stick it out!
