Mary was Kate’s teacher last year at The Fulton School, and she is AMAZING.  I promised her I’d photograph her kids the next time they were both in town at the same time – and it took almost a year to make that happen!  It was so cold that morning, so we worked fast – and since they are both so amazingly good-looking, and I don’t have to chase them like I do some of my other clients – we were done in probably ten minutes!  I love these – so glad I was able to do this small thing for Mary – it’s only a fraction of what I feel indebted to her for, for all she did for my girl last year!

We had our 2nd annual event, Holiday Pajama Portraits, in early December.  This year – I set up a headboard and bed for the kiddos to lounge on – it made for some fun and unique portraits – perfect for those bright holiday pajamas!  Here is a small sampling of the day – can’t wait to do it again next year!

Sweet Ruby is one of my Baby Planners – we decided to celebrate her 6-month milestone with some fall family portraits in November at Harry Myers Park.  Her Momma chose amazing colors for them to wear, just perfect for the season!  I saw Ruby last week, and she’s already thinking about standing and walking – I can’t believe she’s gotten so big!  Here are a few favorites from her fall session…

2013 marked the 5th year doing these fall family mini-sessions – every year we have found a new location, and it’s been a joy to have many families back year after year.  20 minutes may not seem like a lot of time – but it’s just about perfect when you have kids (or Dads) with short attention spans!  I work quickly, and although I promise 10-12 proofs, many of these families had 15 or more to choose from – including family shots, sibling shots and individual shots of each child.  Call me crazy – but I love doing these fast sessions –  my adrenaline pumps, and I get so excited to see what I captured!  Here are examples from the nine families that came that day – all gorgeous!

Sweet Jocelyn came to see me a little past that ‘newborn’ window – but that didn’t stop her from taking adorably precious new baby pictures!  My favorite thing about this session, was that she was able to wear the same white gown that her Daddy was christened in for a few of the images – so so special!  I’m looking forward to photographing her as she grows…
