Most of you probably know me as a family and baby photographer, and I DO love those things… But I’m now beginning to fall in love with small wedding events!  Jennifer & Jack’s wedding was not terribly traditional, in fact, they considered not having a photographer there at all!  But then they realized that they wanted to always remember this day, and I’m so glad they chose me to do the honors…

Mrs. Jamison - LOVE! your work and have loved reliving that day thru the photographs of my favorite people and one of my most treasured memories.

It was effortless to work with you and made the stresses (eek) of the day more bearable knowing you understood us as a couple and would be able to produce above and beyond our expectations. Ok, my expectations, since Jack had considerably less optimism prior to working with you.ReplyCancel

As part of my ongoing partnership with Smocked Auctions, I had the pleasure of shooting some commercial images for them, as requested by Papercity Magazine in Dallas.  These two giggly girls were the perfect models for the job – you can tell they will be friends for a very long time!  Thanks to Nicole & Amy for continuing to trust me with such important assignments as your company continues to grow!

Have you discovered Rockwall’s most adorable children’s boutique, Peek-A-Boo Avenue?  It’s located behind Sabrina’s Flowers in the RidgePointe Athletic complex.  I was thrilled to work with the owners on a contest for the search for their next “Peek-A-Boo Baby”.  They had tons of submissions, and narrowed the finalists to five – and those five got to come see me for a photo shoot showcasing some of the adorable clothes from the boutique.  Pictures from those shoots then went online on their Facebook page, and the voting was FIERCE!  In the end, Sophie was victorious, and was rewarded with a beautiful 16×20 canvas, and is also being featured on Peek-A-Boo’s new billboard on I-30W near FM-549!  Here’s a picture of the billboard – SO adorable!

Not sure how many of you know this – but I’m not a native Texan – I was born and raised near Chicago, Illinois.  I love my Texas home – but do miss being able to see my family as regularly as I’d like!  The good news is – my family is able to come visit a few times each year, and we get uninterrupted time together – which sometimes feels more substantial than just seeing them for an hour here and there!  On this visit (back in July) we went to the park and took some portraits, and also played around in the pool – so thought I’d share both here!  This was Emma’s birthday week – the big ‘6’ – so these can’t count for her birthday portraits, since I still haven’t done them…. right???
