Sweet Austin was suppose to come in for a newborn session, but he had to be rushed to surgery the day before. Thank goodness he is doing great now – we postponed until he was 3 months old, so we could get those more alert shots of him… He is so adorable – I can’t get over his hair! And the eyes… I could go on… But instead, I’ll share a few from his session…

USOur first annual Halloween Open House benefitting Women In Need, Inc. was a huge success! All proceeds from the event will be presented to Women In Need this week – and we managed to raise….. drum roll please… $530!!! I’m so so excited to present this to them, and to also see what other ways we can help in the future. One thing is for sure – we are DEFINITELY doing this again next year – the ideas are already rolling around my head for a new set! And a huge thank you to Jenny Hite, owner of Wee Dreamscapes, for hosting this event with me. She and her staff and helpers kept kiddos busy and entertained with games, coloring and crafts while I was photographing the kiddos – we were a sight in our costumes, and are already making plans for next year – can’t wait to watch this event grow!

Sessions are fast and affordable, and we expect them to be very popular. You must schedule an appointment – sessions are 10 minutes long, and a $20 deposit is required to book your slot (this amount is applied to your order – no session fee!). Packages will range from $59 to $199, and digital files will be available so you can make those holiday cards.
November 17th – Winter Wonderland – this gorgeous winter set will work with any color clothing – it looks great that casual winter outfit (like the pictures in the sample) – but would be really beautiful with your child wearing their holiday best as well! The set is fairly small – so we are limiting this event to children 6 and under. We also need to limit the number of children per session to 2. If you’d like more variety in proofs for your two kids – you are welcome to book two back-to-back slots (and you can choose two packages when ordering).
November 24th – Holiday Pajamas – we are going super simple with an all-white set! This set looks best when the children are wearing bright clothing! We love the idea of all the kids coming in their holiday pajamas – but this set will also work with their bright and colorful holiday outfits as well. We will also have milk and cookies available all day – so stop by and say hi!

When I thought about October, I immediately thought of Halloween – but I didn’t want to just plan more mini-sessions – I wanted to do something more fun! So – Jenny, owner of Wee Dreamscapes, and I put our heads together, and we decided to host a Halloween Open House on Sunday, October 28th from 12-5. I will be available to get a cute shot of your kiddo in their costume – the cost is $15 – and the ENTIRE amount will go to our selected charity – Rockwall’s Women In Need, Inc. We will also have some goody bags and treats to share – so please stop by, even if you don’t have a kiddo to be photographed! Jenny has been busy adding some really cool new inventory in the store – including bath and body care for both babies and mommies, lots of new gift items, etc. – so if you haven’t been in in a while, or have NEVER been in – we’d love to see you!
No appointments necessary – it’s come and go between 12-5 on Sunday, October 28th. Here is a sample of the cute Halloween background we’ll have! For your $15 donation to Women In Need, Inc. – we will provide you with a 5×7 (to be picked up at the studio the following week), and we’ll also be loading all the images from the day into an album on our Facebook page – so you can tag and share with your friends right away!
