Wow – this summer has just flown by, and it’s that time of year again – Back to School Quickie Sessions are BACK on Saturday, August 16th!  This year we have a darling paper airplane theme on a green chalkboard – and to make it more fun – we will have a station set up where you can make your own paper airplanes before your session (arrive 15 minutes early so you have plenty of time!).  The flyer is just below – if you want the quick link to the scheduler – here it is – these are always popular, so now’s the time to get on the schedule!

Sweet Hamza came to see me at the end of February for his newborn portraits at the studio.  His name translates to strength and bravery in Arabic – so it was fitting that his Mom found this adorable lion outfit for him to wear for some of his pictures!  He’s going to need that strength and bravery with three older siblings at home, too!  His Momma signed up for the baby plan – so I’m really looking forward to seeing how big he’s gotten when he comes in soon for his ‘sitting up’ session!

I met Aiden before Christmas last year when he came by for some 3-month portraits.  He was so smiley – so I wasn’t surprised when he came in at 6 months back in February, and was super silly again!  He is so adorable – and that last shot is my favorite!  I can’t wait to see what sort of fun he brings the next time he visits me at the studio – such a big boy!

Sweet Emily wrapped up her baby plan in February, just before her 1st birthday.  One of my favorite parts of her session was at the start, when we were debating something for her to sit on that would coordinate with her outfit – and I went and grabbed a file box from my office that worked perfectly!  I have a green one that I later used for a newborn baby boy – they are the perfect size!  I’m looking forward to seeing Emily again soon – these babies grow up too fast!
